Dear Lucas Valley Swimmers, Campers and Families,

     You really don’t want to miss this trip.  It is really fun.  There is something about a campfire that breaks down habits and allows people to get to know each other anew and better.  It is fun to watch the swimmers travel as a huge pack of different ages. But I hear the water in the river is high.  We are all good swimmers but a river is different.  Please watch your kids when they go to the water and swim.  Don’t assume that because there is an adult down there that the kids are supervised.  I have spent a lot of time around rivers.  They are tricky things.  Please be careful and have fun.
     Because it is a two day trip we do not have practice on Monday.  I hope to see many of you after the meet at the Russian River.
