LVST  NEWSLETTER
July 7,  2010

All sorts of important stuff going on!!
We are down to the final push to  get champs together, get the  Pancake Breakfast  done right & finally, awards night is happening on Sunday, July, 11.  Much to do , lots of fun to be had and without a doubt, so much to be thankful for.

Pancake Breakfast
Friday, July 9
We all eat pancakes on Friday  after practice – parents – we need a few more parents to manage the M&Ms, pour the syrup and make sure the little ones do not become overwhelmed in whipped cream on their pancakes.  The teenagers cook, the  rest of the team eats and we all go home with full bellies, big smiles and perhaps a headache from all the M&Ms.  It is all good!

Champs!
The meet we have been working for all season is coming on July, 10.  The swimmers are working hard and the day will be filled with best times and great swims.  I am sure every family member has a job or 2 at the meet, and special thanks to the many parents of young swimmers, competing in the morning, who are giving up their afternoon to work the meet.  We all know LVST is the smallest team in the league, we all need to pull together this day and make it happen.  We are in desperate need of clean up workers – the meet is over at roughly 6pm, please come back and help clean up – if not, those few folks who have been working since 6am will be forced to do the work – we are contracted to leave the area spotless, please come and help out when the team needs you most!!
